Head of Taxonomical Research of the BIOICE program, which objectives is to record benthic species of marine invertebrates within the 200 mile economical zone of Iceland (758 000 km2), map their distribution, abundance, and species diversity patterns. Involves co-ordination of 108 systematists and taxonomists from 19 countries.
